On weighted Hadamard-type singular integrals and their applications (Q2472066)

The author gives new expressions for the weighted Hadamard-type singular integrals \[ f.p.\int_\Gamma \frac{w(\tau) f(\tau)}{(\tau -t)^{m+1}}\,d\tau \] by means of singularity deletion method. Some properties of the weighted Hadamard-type singular integrals are also revealed. The solution of the strongly singular integral equation \[ f.p.\int_{-1}^1\frac{\varphi(t)}{(t-x)^2}\,dt+\int_{-1}^1k(x,t)\varphi (t) \,dt=f(x) \] is discussed and illustrated.
