The functional equation \(E(f)=0\) is superstable if the boundedness of \(E(f)\) implies that either \(f\) is bounded or \(f\) is a solution of the functional equation. \textit{R. Badora} and \textit{R. Ger} [Adv. Math., Dordr. 3, 3--15 (2002; Zbl 1010.39012)] studied the superstability for the d'Alembert's equation. In this paper the author investigates the superstability for the trigonometric functional inequations \[ \begin{aligned}&| f(x+y)+f(x-y)-2f(x)g(y)| \leq \varphi(x) \quad \text{ or}\quad \varphi(y)\\ &| f(x+y)+f(x-y)-2g(x)f(y)| \leq \varphi(x) \quad \text{ or}\quad \varphi(y),\end{aligned} \] where \(G\) is an Abelian group and mappings \(\varphi, f, g :G\to \mathbb{R}\) are given. The results of the paper are extended to the stability on the Banach algebras.
