A Krasnoselskii fixed-point theorem in cones enables the authors to deduce criteria for the existence of positive solutions for the two-point right focal eigenvalue problem \[ (-1)^{n-p}y^{\Delta^n}(t)=\lambda f(t,y(\sigma^{n-1}(t)),\ldots,y^{\Delta^{p-1}}(\sigma^{n-p}(t))) \] subject to boundary conditions \(y^{\Delta^i}(0)=0\), \(0\leq i<p\), \(y^{\Delta^i}(\sigma(1))=0\), \(p\leq i<n\), where \(\lambda>0\), \(n\geq 2\), \(1\leq p<n\) are fixed. The operators \(\Delta\) and \(\sigma\) are the differentiation and forward jump operators, resp., on a time scale \({\mathbb T}\).
