Notes on the bifurcation theorem (Q2472528)

The aim of the article is to improve the nonlocal bifurcation results of \textit{P. H. Rabinowitz} [J. Differ. Equations 14, 462--475 (1973; Zbl 0272.35017)] and \textit{K. Schmitt} and \textit{Z.-Q. Wang} [Differ. Integral Equ. 4, No. 5, 933--943 (1991; Zbl 0736.58014)] and to provide a unified approach to bifurcations both at infinity and at the origin on the base of Conley index theory. Note here that the articles [\textit{V. A. Trenogin, N. A. Sidorov} and \textit{B. V. Loginov}, Differ. Integral Equ. 3, 145--154 (1990; Zbl 0729.47060) and \textit{N. A. Sidorov} and \textit{V. A. Trenogin}, Uzbek Math. J. 2, 40--49 (1992)] contain deep local results of Conley index applications to bifurcation problems with potential branching equations and also for symmetrizable linear operators in the linearization in Banach spaces.
