A coloring of a set \(X\) by the set of colors \(F\) is a map \(\varphi\colon X\to F\). A coloring \(\varphi\colon\Gamma\to F\) of a discrete group is called aperiodic if \(\varphi\neq g\varphi\), where \((g\varphi)(x)=\varphi (g^{-1}x)\) for all \(g\in\Gamma\setminus\{e\}\). This means that the orbit \(\Gamma\varphi\) of \(\varphi\) under the left action of \(\Gamma\) on \(F^\Gamma\) is full, i.e., the isotropy group of \(\varphi\) is trivial. Finally a coloring \(\varphi\colon\Gamma\to F\) is called limit aperiodic if the action of \(\Gamma\) on the closure \(\overline{\Gamma\varphi}\) of the orbit \(\Gamma\varphi\) is free, i.e., every coloring in \(\overline{\Gamma\varphi}\) is aperiodic. On \(F^\Gamma\) we consider the product topology, where \(F\) has the discrete topology. For example, the authors prove that there exist colorings \(\varphi_i\colon\mathbb{Z}\to\{0,1\}\), for \(i=1,2\), such that \(\varphi_1\) is limit aperiodic but \(\varphi_2\) is not. Then, the authors prove in the next sections that every finitely generated torsion-free hyperbolic group admits a limit aperiodic coloring by 9 colors and every Coxeter group admits a limit aperiodic coloring by finitely many colors. Moreover in the paper is considered a coloring of spaces, in particular simplicial trees, on which the group acts. Finally the authors recall a definition of tiling of a metric space from a paper by \textit{J. Block} and \textit{S. Weinberger} [J. Am. Math. Soc. 5, No. 4, 907-918 (1992; Zbl 0780.53031)], and prove some properties of special aperiodic tilings of the Davis complex [see \textit{M. Davis}, Ann. Math. (2) 117, 293-324 (1983; Zbl 0531.57041)] and the hyperbolic plane \(\mathbb{H}^2\).
