This paper treats a relation between curvature and volume growth for Kähler manifolds. Let \(M\) be a complex \(n\)-dimensional complete noncompact Kähler manifold. Assume that the bisectional curvature is positive outside a compact set. Then the author proves that the volume growth is at least of polynomial growth of order \(n\), namely, that for any fixed \(x_0\) there exists a positive constant \(C\) such that \(\text{Vol}(B(x_0,t))\geq C t^n\) for sufficiently large \(t\), where \(B(x_0,t)\) is the ball of radius \(t\) with center at \(x_0\).
