The authors present a technique for solving linear differential equation \[ \left[ F(D) + P\left(x, d/dx\right)\right] y(x) = Q(x) \] where \(D = x \frac{d}{dx}\), \(F(D)= \sum_{n} a_n D^n\) is a diagonal operator in the space of monomials spanned by \(x^n\) and \(a_n\) are constants, the \(P(x, d/dx) = \sum_{i,j} c_{i,j} x^i (\frac{d}{dx})\), and \(c_{i,j} = 0\) if \(i=j\) then the solution might be given by \[ y(x) = C_{\lambda} \left\{ \sum_{m=0}^{\infty} (-1)^m \left[ \frac{1}{F(D)}P\left(x, \frac{d}{dx}\right)\right]^m \right\} x^\lambda . \] In fact this method is a special case of the series solutions method since in order to have a solution necessary conditions the \(F(D)x^\lambda = 0\) and \(P(x, \frac{d}{dx})^m x^\lambda =0\) should be satisfied. By applying this method one can deduce several well known results. The authors reproduced some known examples. The main contribution and new part is in the section two where quasi-exactly soluble potentials are considered.
