Just like for a simplex all its facets are again simplices, one can consider special families of generalized simplices consisting of polytopes, all of whose facets are in the class. Cubes are an example of such situation. In this paper, the authors discuss a new family of generalized simplices which they call braxtopes. The authors give a construction of coordinates for these polytopes and study their combinatorics as well their triangulations. Finding such special families is quite important for the combinatorics of convex polytopes.
