The paper deals with the existence of solutions to a problem of the form \[ u'(t)+Au(t)\ni f(t),\quad f(t)\in F(t,u(t)),~ u(t)=u(t+2\pi), \] in a Banach space \(X\). Here \(A: D(A)\subseteq X\to {\mathcal{P}}(X)\) is an \(m\)-accretive operator and the multi valued function \(F: {\mathbb{R}}\times{\overline{D(A)}}\to {\mathcal{P}}(X)\) is \(2\pi\)-periodic with respect to its first variable. Under appropriate conditions the author proves an existence theorem by following four steps: First step. To given \(\varepsilon>0\) and \(f\in L_{2\pi}\) there is a unique solution \(u_{\varepsilon}^f\in C_{2\pi}\) of the problem \[ u'(t)+Au(t)= f(t)-\varepsilon u(t),\quad u(t)=u(t+2\pi). \] Second step. The function \(f\to u_{\varepsilon}^f\) is compact. Third step. There is a \(f\) such that \(f(t)\in F(t,u_{\varepsilon}^f(t)),\) for a.a \(t\in[0,2\pi].\) Set \(u_{\varepsilon}^f=:u_{\varepsilon}.\) Fourth step. There is a sequence \(\varepsilon_n\downarrow 0\) guaranteeing the existence of the \(C_{2\pi}\)-\(\lim u_{\varepsilon_n}=: u\), which is the desired solution.
