The study of linear topological properties of the space of real analytic functions has attracted much interest in recent years. In the present interesting paper some of the corresponding results are proved for the space \(\mathcal{E}_{\{\omega\}}(\Omega)\) of Roumieu type quasianalytic functions (in the non quasianalytic case, the results are an easy consequence of the classical sequence space representation for \(\mathcal{E}_{\{\omega\}}(\Omega)\) of D. Vogt). Specifically, the authors prove that \(\mathcal{E}_{\{\omega\}}(\Omega)\) satisfies the dual interpolation estimate for small \(\theta\) if \(\Omega\) is convex and \(\omega\) satisfies some natural assumptions. For Fréchet spaces (and duals of Fréchet spaces), this linear topological invariant is equivalent to the properties \((\overline{\overline{\Omega}})\) (and \((\underline{A})\), respectively) of D. Vogt. This implies that Fréchet quotients of \(\mathcal{E}_{\{\omega\}}(\Omega)\) have property \((\overline{\overline{\Omega}})\) while dual Fréchet quotients have property \((\underline{A})\). The proof of the main result is based on the Paley-Wiener theorem for \(\mathcal{E}_{\{\omega\}}(\Omega)'_b\) and a local Phragmen-Lindelöf lemma. The main result is applied to the splitting of short exact sequences of \(PLS\)-spaces and to the solution of vector valued linear equations. The paper ends with some interesting open problems, especially, it is not known if \(\mathcal{E}_{\{\omega\}}(\Omega)\) has a basis in the quasianalytic case. Notice that the space of real analytic functions does not have a basis by the result of \textit{P. Domański} and \textit{D. Vogt} [Stud. Math. 142, 187--200 (2000; Zbl 0990.46015)].
