Normal form of \(m\)-by-\(n\)-by-2 matrices for equivalence (Q2474270)

The authors put forward certain new approach to investigate \(m \times n \times 2\)-matrices over an arbitrary field up to the equivalence and obtained a canonical form for such matrices in the case \(n=2\). These results provide the extension of the previous results by \textit{G. R. Belitskii} and \textit{V. V. Sergeichuk} [Linear Algebra Appl. 361, 203--222 (2003; Zbl 1030.15011)], which are valid only over algebraically closed fields.
