Lusternik-Schnirelmann category of stunted quasi-projective spaces (Q2475050)

In this paper the authors show that the Lusternik-Schnirelmann category of stunted quasi-projective spaces \(Q_{n,m}=Q_n/Q_m\) is \(3\) for \(3m+3\leq n\leq 4m+3\) completing in this way previous work of Kishimoto and Kono. As a corollary it is shown that \(\text{cat\,}Q_3=3\) answering a question of L. Fernández-Suárez, A. Gómez-Tato and D. Tanré.
