The existence of traveling wave solutions of a class of reaction diffusion equations with time delay and nonlocal response is investigated. Assuming that the corresponding reaction equation possesses a heteroclinic orbit connecting a steady state to a periodic orbit, the authors prove the existence of a traveling wave solution of the original reaction diffusion equation connecting a steady state to a periodic traveling wave. In the mathematical set up, this problem corresponds to a singular perturbation problem. After reducing the singular to a regular perturbation problem, the existence of the desired traveling wave solution is obtained by Lyapunov-Schmidt reduction.
