Multiplicative perturbation by contractions and uniform stability (Q2475489)

A bounded operator \(T\) in a Hilbert space is said to be uniformly stable if \(\| T^{n} \| \to 0\) as \(n \to \infty.\) The authors give conditions under which a multiplicative perturbation \(S T\) with a contraction \(S\) is uniformly stable.
