A solution to a nonlinear Cauchy problem is presented as a solution to the corresponding nonlinear integral equation. An approximate solution to the nonlinear integral equation is obtained by geometro-optical asymptotic method, which presents a particular case of the perturbation method. An approximate analytic solution is given by Poincaré asymptotics. A parametrical analysis is performed.
