A Stepanov version for Favard theory (Q2475576)

The author points out that a recent claim by \textit{Z. Hu} and \textit{A. B. Mingarelli} [Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 132, No. 2, 417--428 (2004; Zbl 1046.34012)] on an improvement of the well known result by Favard on the existence of almost periodic solutions to inhomogeneous linear ordinary differential equations by relaxing the separation condition of solutions are not true. In fact, he shows that the separation condition in Stepanov's type obtained by these authors is equivalent to Favard's one.
