The author's primary attention is given to the statement of inverse problems of determining the solution of a given problem and the right-hand side of multidimensional linear and quasilinear equations with final overdetermination and to the uniqueness of their solutions in Hölder spaces. Namely, the author considers the equation \[ c(x,t,u)u_t- Lu= p_0(x, t)f(x)+ p_1(x, t)\tag{1} \] for \((x,t)\in Q_p\) with the unknown function \(f\) from the right-hand side of (1) and with the boundary and initial conditions \[ u|_{S_T}= v(x,t)|_{S_T},\;u|_{t=0}= \varphi(x),\quad x\in\overline\Omega,\tag{2} \] and with the additional condition \[ u|_{t=T}= g(x),\quad x\in\overline\Omega.\tag{3} \] Here \(\Omega\) is a bounded domain in \(\mathbb R^n\) with a smooth boundary \(S\) and \(Q_T= \Omega\times (0,T]\) is a cylinder with the lateral surface \(S_T= S\times (0,T]\). Further \(Lu\) is a nonlinear, uniform elliptic operator and \(p_0\), \(p_1\), \(v\), \(\varphi\) and \(g\) are given functions. The main result proves that the inverse problem (1)--(3) has a unique solution: \((u_0(x, t), f_0(x))\).
