The author shows a formula comparing the algebraic \(L_p\)-functions for two different lattices of a given family of Galois representations over a deformation ring \({\mathcal R}\). Actually, for \({\mathcal R} \simeq {\mathcal O} [[X_1, \ldots, X_n]], {\mathcal O}\) being the integer ring of a finite extension of \({\mathbb Q}_p,\) for two free lattices \(T, T'\) of a continuous representation of \(G_{\mathbb Q}\) over \(\text{Frac}({\mathcal R})\) unramified outside a finite set of primes \(\Sigma\) containing \(\{ p, \infty\},\) for any height-one prime of \({\mathcal R},\) and under some technical assumptions which are verified for a wide class of deformations, the author gives an expression for the difference \(\text{length}_{{\mathcal R}_{\mathcal P}}((Sel_T)^\vee)_{\mathcal P} - \;\text{length}_{{\mathcal R}_{\mathcal P}}((Sel_T')^\vee)_{\mathcal P}.\) This is derived from a formula giving \(\text{length}_{{\mathcal R}_{\mathcal P}}(C^\vee)_{\mathcal P} -\;\text{length}_{{\mathcal R}_{\mathcal P}}((C^{G_{\mathbb R}})^\vee)_{\mathcal P}\) in terms of Euler-Poincaré characteristics, for any discrete \({\mathcal R}\)-module \(C\) such that \(C^\vee\) is a finitely generated torsion \({\mathcal R}\)-module with \(G_\Sigma\)-action. The author's result generalizes a classical comparison formula by \textit{P. Schneider} [J. Indian Math. Soc., New Ser. 52, 159--170 (1987; Zbl 0706.14026)] and \textit{B. Perrin-Riou} in [Algebraic number theory - in honor of K. Iwasawa, Proc. Workshop Iwasawa Theory Spec. Values \(L\)-Funct., Berkeley/CA (USA) 1987, Adv. Stud. Pure Math. 17, 347--358 (1989; Zbl 0747.11056)], for which \({\mathcal R}\) is the cyclotomic Iwasawa algebra. Another application deals with the two-variable Iwasawa theory for nearly ordinary Hida deformations in residually reducible cases. Note that the residually irreducible case has been studied previously by the author in a series of papers; [see e.g. \textit{T. Ochiai}, Compos. Math. 142, No. 5, 1157--1200 (2006; Zbl 1112.11051)].
