The relative cohomology of formal contact vector fields with respect to formal Poisson vector fields (Q2478645)

Refining the method of Gelfand--Fuks [see \textit{D. Fuks}, Cohomology of Infinite-Dimensional Lie Algebras, Moskva: Nauka (1984; Zbl 0592.17011)], the author establishes that the cohomology with trivial coefficients of the Lie algebra \(K\) of formal contact vector fields relative to its subalgebra of Poisson formal vector fields is trivial. He also recovers the previously known fact that the absolute cohomology of \(K\) vanishes in the big enough degree.
