This paper deals with an approximation of solutions of some nonlinear three-point boundary value problems of the type \[ -x''(t)= f(t,x,x'),\quad t\in I= [0,1],\quad x(0)= 0,\quad x'(1)= g(x(\eta)),\quad 0< \eta\leq 1, \] where the nonlinearities \(f: I\times\mathbb{R}\times\mathbb{R}\to \mathbb{R}\) and \(g: \mathbb{R}\to\mathbb{R}\) are continuous. The author develops the generalized approximations technique (based on quasilinearization) and obtains a sequence of solutions of linear problems. Such sequence converses uniformly and quadratically to a solution of the nonlinear problem in the \(C^1\) norm.
