Let \(X\) be a Mumford curve with Schottky group \(\Gamma\) defined over a finite extension \(K\) of \({\mathbb{Q}}_p\). G. Faltings proved an equivalence between the category of semistable vector bundles of degree zero on a Mumford curve over a non-Archimedean field and certain representations of the Schottky group of the curve. The result was generalized to any Archimedean field by Van der Put and Reversat, call the corresponding representations the PR representations. Let \({\mathbb{C}}_p\) be the \(p\)-adic completion of the algebraic closure of \({\mathbb{Q}}_p\). For a projective smooth geometrically connected curve \(X\) over a finite extension of \({\mathbb{Q}}_p\), Werner and Deninger defined a functor that associated a continuous \({\mathbb{C}}_p\)-vector space representation (called a DW representation) of the algebraic fundamental group of \(X_{{\mathbb{C}}_p}\) to every vector bundle with potentially strongly semistable reduction on \(X_{{\mathbb{C}}_p}\). For a Mumford curve \(X\), let \(\beta\) denote the category of semistable vector bundles of degree \(0\), rank \(r\) that are associated to the PR representations whose image is in GL\(_r(O), O\) being the ring of integers of \(\mathbb{C}_p\). The author proves that the DW representations factor through the profinite completion of \(\Gamma\). The main result of the paper is the following. Theorem. The profinitely completed PR representation associated to a vector bundle \(E\) in \(\beta\), extended to \(\mathbb{C}_p\)-vector spaces and the DW representation associated to \(E\) are isomorphic representations of the profinite completion of the Schottky group.
