The authors find some conditions in Theorem 1 such that too much cancellation among potential singularities became impossible and obtained a natural boundary of some Dirichlet series (which is holomorphic in the half-plan). Then the authors show that the existence of a natural boundary can help to obtain \(\Omega\)-results for Dirichlet series associated to counting function and proved that if \(D(s)=\sum a_nn^{-s}\)(be meromorphically continued in the half-plan \(\Re s>\sigma\)) has a natural boundary at \(\Re s=\sigma\), then there does not exist an explicit formula of the form \[ A(x):=\sum_{n\leq x}=\sum_\rho c_\rho x^\rho+O(x^\sigma), \] where \(\rho\) is a zero of Riemann zeta function and hence it is possible to obtain a term \(\Omega(x^{\sigma-\varepsilon})\) in the asymptotic expression for \(A(x)\). Finally, an application of natural boundaries in determining asymptotic results are obtained.
