On the methods to construct UFD counterexamples to a cancellation problem (Q2479931)

The author widens class of the counterexamples to a generalized cancellation problem. In a previous paper, \textit{D. Finston} and the author [Isr. J. Math. 163, 369--381 (2008; Zbl 1139.14045)] constructed the class of UFD rings \(A_{n,m}\) such that (i) \(A_{n,m}[T]\cong A_{p,q}[T]\) for any \(n,m,p,q\in\mathbb N;\) (ii) \(A_{n,m}\cong A_{p,q} \) iff \((n,m)=(p,q)\). In this paper the author shows that similar methods may enlarge that class of counterexample.
