The author deals with the problem of finding a function \(u(x,y)\) which is a solution of the following boundary value problem \(\Omega\subset\mathbb R^2\) satisfying certain conditions: \[ \begin{gathered} (Lu)(x,y)= F(x,y),\quad (x,y)\in\Omega,\\ u(x,y)= f(x,y),\quad (x,y)\in\partial\Omega,\end{gathered} \] where \[ \begin{multlined} (Lu)(x,y):= a_{11}(x,y) u_{xx} (x,y)+ 2a_{12}(x,y) u_{xy}+ a_{22}(x,y) u_{yy}+ b_1(x,y) u_x(x,y)+\\ b_2(x,y) u_y(x,y)+ c(x,y) u(x,y).\end{multlined} \] The author proves the Fredholm alternative for the corresponding inverse problem, estimates the stability in the case of existence of a unique solution and presents several sufficient conditions leading to the unique solvability of the corresponding inverse problem.
