The author considers the equation \[ y'= f(x,y) \] with jointly continuous function \(f: D\to L(E,F)\), where \(D\subset E\times F\) is a connected open set, \(E\) and \(F\) are real Banach spaces, \(L(E,F)\) denotes the Banach space of linear continuous operators from \(E\) to \(F\), and \(y'\) is the Fréchet derivative. The notion of radial solution to the above equation is defined, and it is proved that such solution in some domain is a solution in ordinary sense in any subdomain star-shaped with respect to the initial point. Under additional assumptions on the function \(f\), the integrability of the variational equation to the above equation with respect to its zero solution is proved as well.
