Let \(D\) be a divisor and \(A\) be an ample divisor on a smooth projective variety, then \(\text{ SBs}(D)=\bigcap _{m\geq 1} \text{ Bs}| mD| \) is the stable base locus of \(D\), \(\text{ NAmp}(D)=\bigcap \text{ SBs}(mD -A)\) is the non-ample locus of \(D\) and \(\text{ NNef}(D)=\bigcup \text{ SBs}(mD+A)\) is the non-nef locus of \(D\). The main result of the paper under review is the following: If \(X\) is a smooth projective variety of general type, then any irreducible component of \(\text{ SBs}(K_X)\) (or of \(\text{ NAmp}(K_X)\) or of \(\text{ NNef}(K_X)\)) is uniruled. Results of a similar flavor are also proved for big divisors on a smooth projective variety with trivial canonical bundle and for smooth projective varieties with big anti-canonical divisor.
