The paper aims at linking three different fractal aspects for one-dimensional homogeneous Cantor constructions, namely Hausdorff and packing measure, Euler exponent [as defined by \textit{M. Llorente} and \textit{S. Winter}, Math. Nachr. 280, No. 1--2, 152--170 (2007; Zbl 1118.28006)], and the quantization error of the related Cantor uniform distribution [\textit{S. Graf} and \textit{H. Luschgy}, Foundations quantization for probability distributions. Lecture Notes in Mathematics. 1730. (Berlin): Springer. (2000; Zbl 0951.60003)]. Under certain assumptions, it is proved that the Euler exponent of the Cantor set coincides with the quantization dimension of the uniform distribution on the set. Assuming further conditions, another significant result provides a connection between the Hausdorff and Packing measure of the Cantor set and the high-rate asymptotics of the quantization error. The paper ends with a number of related open questions.
