Homotopy and normalization properties for admissible maps (Q2484572)

With a view to improving their earlier results [Dyn. Syst. Appl. 11, No. 4, 437--447 (2002; Zbl 1067.47067)], the authors present an essential map approach for \(\mathcal B^k\)-admissible maps of \textit{S. Park} [J. Korean Math. Soc. 35, No. 4, 803--829 (1998); corrections ibid. 36, No. 4, 829--832 (1999; Zbl 0923.47034)] and obtain new normalization and homotopy properties for a subclass of the \(\mathcal B^k\)-admissible maps. Further, they obtain a general random fixed point theorem and claim that the same ``includes all well-known random fixed point theory'' due to \textit{T.-C. Lin} [Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 123, No. 4, 1167--1176 (1995; Zbl 0834.47049)], \textit{Kok-Keong Tan} and \textit{X.-Z. Yuan} [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 185, No. 2, 378--390 (1994); corrigendum ibid. 195, No. 2, 619 (1995; Zbl 0856.47036)] and others.
