This article investigates smooth, totally geodesic codimension-one foliations of Lorentzian manifolds with the aim of determining which Seifert fiber spaces in dimension 3, and in higher dimensions which manifolds fibered by circles, admit such foliations. The main results can be summarized as follows: (1) An oriented 3-manifold \(M\) which fibers by circles over a compact surface \(\Sigma\) of genus \(g\) has a smooth codimension-one, totally geodesic (light-like) foliation if and only if the Euler number of the fibering divides \(2g-2\). (2) Up to a lift to a double cover, every Seifert fibered 3-manifold has a totally geodesic foliation posessing leaves of mixed type (light-like, space-like, and time-like). (3) Every orientable manifold fibered by circles possesses a codimension-one, totaly geodesic foliation with leaves of mixed type.
