In this paper, the \(L^p\)-theory is extended for the maximal regularity of the Cauchy problem \[ \begin{aligned}\dot{u}(t) + Au(t) & = f(t), \quad t \geq 0, \\ u(0)& =0, \end{aligned} \] and the related Fourier multiplier techniques to the real-variable Hardy space \(H^1\). In this context, \(A\) is a closed linear operator with dense domain in the underlying Banach space \(X\) and \(f\in L^1_{\text{loc}}(\overline{\mathbb R}_+; X).\) The author proves the necessity of \(-A\) generating an analytic semigroup for the \((H^1,L^1)\)-regularity of the above Cauchy problem. He also gives necessary conditions for regularity and sufficient conditions for the boundedness of some operators.
