Let \(V\) be a finite-dimensional vector space over a field with two elements. Let \(\Omega\) be a bilinear form and \(\tau_a\colon x\to x+\Omega(x,a)a\) a transvection. For a linearly independent subset \(B\) of \(V\), let \(\Gamma_B\) be the group generated by the transvections \(\tau_b\) where \(b\in B\). Let \(Gr(B)\) be the graph with vertex set \(B\) where \(b_i,b_j\) in \(B\) are connected if \(\Omega(b_i,b_j)=1\) or \(\Omega(b_j,b_i)=1\). The author studies the linear action of \(\Gamma_B\) in \(V\), where \(Gr(B)\) is connected. In particular, he computes the orbits that are in bijection with connected components of real double Bruhat cells in semisimple groups.
