Analytical perfect fluid perturbation for the matter dominated epoch (Q2487223)

The solution of the evolution equation for the scalar model metric perturbation of a one component Friedmann universe is obtained. In the case of spherical symmetry the solution is given in terms of convolution integrals reduced to one-dimensional integrals. The considerations to the effect of stress and pressure in the evolution of perturbations are analyzed. The Cauchy problem of the linear evolution equation is considered.
