The paper elaborates the behavior of electromagnetic fields on Robertson-Walker metrics. Maxwell's equations are solved for flat, closed and open models and the asymptotic character of these solutions is discussed with respect to the question of tails of the corresponding electromagnetic waves. For the spacetime under consideration the result is that they are tail-free.
