The authors examine the metric functions asymptotical behaviour of the Bianchi IX model in general relativity with a massive scalar field. Considering several scalar field potentials the authors show that dynamical properties of the Universe depend on the initial conditions. However some properties are still ruled only by some control parameters. Using a toy model it is shown that a massive scalar field having a positive energy density does not always prevent from having a singularity oscillatory approach.
