The notion of a nearly-Kähler manifold, also known as \(K\)-space or almost Tachibana space in the seventies, is the most interesting nonintegrable Hermitian manifold studied by many geometers and intensively by \textit{A. Gray} [Math. Ann. 223, 233--248 (1976; Zbl 0345.53019); J. Differ. Geom. 7, 343--369 (1972; Zbl 0275.53026)]. The paper under review states a classification of the 6-dimensional homogeneous Riemannian manifold, admitting a strict nearly-Kähler structure, by reformulating the conjecture of \textit{J. A. Wolf} and \textit{A. Gray} [Differ. Geom. 2, 77--114 (1968; Zbl 0169.24103) ibid. 2, 115--159 (1968; Zbl 0182.24702)], asserting that a strict homogeneous nearly-Kähler manifold is 3-symmetric. For this purpose, the author solves the differential equation of \textit{R. Reyes Carrion} [Phd. Thesis, Oxford (1993)]. Moreover, by using recent results of \textit{R. Cleyton} and \textit{A. Swann} [Math. Z. 247, No. 3, 513--528 (2004; Zbl 1069.53041)], \textit{P. A. Nagy} [Asian J. Math. 6, No. 3, 481--504 (2002; Zbl 1041.53021)], pointing out that a strict nearly-Kähler manifold can be decomposed into a Riemannian product, the author proves the conjecture in higher dimension.
