The paper deals with monotone Schwarz alternating algorithms for the following semilinear convection-diffusion equation of parabolic type \[ -\varepsilon(u_{xx}+u_{yy}) + b_1u_x + b_2u_y + u_t = - f(x,y,t,u). \] The problem under consideration is discretized and the method of upper and lower solutions is applied to the discretized problem. The monotone method is generalized to a domain decomposition, and stability results are obtained.
