All rings considered are commutative with identity and all modules are unital. For a ring \(R\), an \(R\)-module \(M\) is called a multiplication module if every submodule of \(M\) has the form \(IM\) for some ideal \(I\) of \(R\). Let \(M\) be an \(R\)-module and let \(R\left(M\right)\) be the idealization of \(M\). Homogeneous ideals of \(R\left(M\right)\) are built from an ideal \(I\) of \(R\) and a certain submodule \(N\) of \(M\). The author studies how properties (such as meet principal, join principal in the case of a multiplication module \(M\)) of a homogeneous ideal of \(R\left(M\right)\) are related to those of \(I\) and \(N\).
