Let \(\mu:\mathbb R^d\to [0,\infty)\) satisfy \(\mu(rx)=\mu(x)\) for all \(r>0\) and \(x\in\mathbb R^d\). Assume \(\mu\) is bounded away from zero on a nonempty subset. Then in each of the following cases: (i) \(D=\mathbb R^d\setminus\{0\}\) and \(\alpha\neq d\); (ii) \(D\) is the domain above the graph of a Lipschitz function and \(\alpha\neq 1\); (iii) \(D\) is a bounded Lipschitz open set and \(\alpha>1\); (iv) \(D\) is the complement of a bounded Lipschitz open set, \(\alpha\neq 1\), and \(\alpha\neq d\), the Hardy-type inequality \[ \int_D \frac{| u(x)| ^p}{\delta_x^\alpha} dx \leq c \int_D \int_D \frac{| u(x)-u(y)| ^p}{| x-y| ^{d+\alpha}} \mu(x-y) \,dx\,dy,\quad u\in C_c(D), \] holds, where \(c=c(d,D,\mu,\alpha,p)\) is a constant and \(C_c(D)\) is the collection of all continuous real-valued functions on \(D\) with compact support. In establishing this Hardy-type inequality, some inequalities of certain homogeneous anisotropic integral forms are also obtained.
