Let \(A\) be a Noetherian \(\mathbb F_p\)-algebra, which is finitely generated as an \(A^p\)-module. The first main result of the paper gives an explicit formula for the de Rham-Witt complex of the power series ring \(A[[t]]\) in terms of that of \(A\). This result is then used to show that the canonical map \[ K_q(R,\mathbb Z/p^v) \rightarrow K_q^{\text{top}}(R,\mathbb Z/p^v) \] from the algebraic \(K\)-theory with \(\mathbb Z/p^v\)-coefficients to the corresponding topological \(K\)-theory is an isomorphism for \(R = A[[t_1,\dots,t_d]]\) and \(A\) a regular local \(\mathbb F_p\)-algebra, which is finitely generated as an \(A^p\)-module.
