Extending and improving their earlier work [Invent. Math. 158, No. 3, 453--495 (2004; Zbl 1067.14036)], in which they prove the toric residue mirror symmetry conjecture of Batyrev and Materov, the authors prove the enhanced version known as the mixed toric residue mirror symmetry conjecture. This has also recently been proved by \textit{K. Karu} [J. Algebr. Geom. 14, No. 4, 741--760 (2005; Zbl 1086.14042)], two whom the authors of the present paper grant priority; but the proofs are very different and there is plenty of room for both. A description of the conjecture may be found in the review of Karu's paper or, even better, in the papers themselves. Very roughly it is an extension of the toric residue mirror symmetry conjecture from hypersurfaces to complete intersections. The paper follows [Zbl 1067.14036] very closely. The progress made in this paper, which is considerable, is that the authors, in their phrase, simplify and streamline their techniques. This is in part necessary in order to overcome the obstacles in this more general context, and in part just general improvement of the use and presentation of tropical degenerations.
