The authors study numerically a Willamowski-Rössler system perturbed by white noise of small intensity: \[ \dot x=a_1 x-k^0_{-1}(1+\beta \xi)x^2-xy-xz,\quad \dot y=xy-a_5y,\quad \dot z=a_4z-xz-k_{-5}z^2, \] \(\xi\) being a white noise process. Although the unperturbed (\(\beta=0\)) system is time-autonomous, its coordinate \(z\) has a strong periodic component. In the presence of noise the system demonstrates a stochastic resonance behaviour, namely the signal-to-noise ratio at the frequency of the periodic component has a well-pronounced maximum as a function of the noise amplitude.
