In the study of periodic points one has the notion of a minimal period of a map \(f\). The set of algebraic periods is an important tool for studying minimal periods. An integer \(m\) is an algebraic period if \(i_m(f)=\Sigma_{k| m}\mu(m/k)L(f^k)\), where \(\mu\) is the Möbius function and \(L(f)\) the Lefschetz number of the function \(f\). Let \(APer(f)=\{m\in N:i_m(f)\neq 0\}\), which is called the set of algebraic periods of \(f\). The purpose of the paper is to describe the set \(APer(f)\) for an arbitrary map \(f:X\to X\) where \(X\) is a rational exterior space which has rank 2, i.e. \(H^*(X,\mathbb{Q})\) is an exterior algebra on two generators of odd dimension. The map \(f\) induces a homomorphism of the indecomposable elements which is represented by a \(2\times 2\) matrix \(A\). The description of \(APer(f)\) is given in terms of \(t, d\), which are the trace and the determinant of \(A\), respectively. Any of the possibilities \(APer(f)\) empty, finite of infinite, can happen. The result is obtained by the analysis of the eigenvalues of \(A\) and its powers.
