      The authors of this very technical paper use generalized polar coordinates to prove existence of at least one \(T\)-periodic solution of the generalized Liénard equation with \(p\)-Laplacian, \[ \left( \phi\left( u^{\prime}\right) \right) ^{\prime}+f\left( u,u^{\prime}\right) u^{\prime}+g(u)=e\left( t,u,u^{\prime}\right) ,\qquad t\in[0,T], \] with \(p>1,\) \(\phi(s)=\left| s\right| ^{p-2}s\) for \(s\neq0\) and \(\phi(0)=0;\) \(g\in C\left( \mathbb{R},\mathbb{R}\right) ,\) \(f\in C\left( \mathbb{R}^{2},\mathbb{R}\right)\) and \(e\in C\left( [0,T]\times\mathbb{R} ^{2},\mathbb{R}\right) .\) An illustrative example is considered.
