The authors discuss relationships between three categories of uniform spaces namely standard uniform spaces, uniform spaces on a complete lattice \(L\) with an order reversing involution (or \(L\)-uniform spaces) and uniform spaces on the unit \(L\)-interval in the \textit{B. Hutton} sense [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 50, 74--79 (1975; Zbl 0297.54003)]. The main idea is to construct two different generalizations of adjunctions between respective spaces in the sense of \textit{A. K. Katsaras} [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 101, 97--113 (1984; Zbl 0598.54003)]. The adjunctions are compatible with \textit{R. Lowen's} functors [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 64, 446--454 (1978; Zbl 0381.54004)] and their constructions are based on Galois connections. Although the two above mentioned generalizations of the adjunction are different, they are related because of the commutative properties of the corresponding mappings. The paper is very formal and the authors give no practical motivations for their study.
