The subject of this paper is the study of the complex of bounded faces of a pseudo-hyperplane arrangement, or equivalently an oriented matroid. It generalizes the famous decomposition theorem due to T. Zaslavsky. The author's method implies that the bounded face complex is pure (known for hyperplane arrangements from Zaslavsky) and collapsible (stronger than contractible which was already known from Björner and Ziegler).
