The author proves (Proposition 2.1) a generalized version for 4- and 5-dimensional manifolds of the result of \textit{F. Lopez} and \textit{A. Ros} [Comment. Math. Helv. 64, 34--43 (1989; Zbl 0679.53047)]. As an interesting consequence, he obtains (Theorem 1.2) that a complete noncompact constant mean curvature hypersurface in the \(m\)-dimensional Euclidean space (\(m=4,5\)) with finite index must be minimal.
