The authors study the behaviour of the Green's function in an domain with randomly punched holes satisfying a number of hypothesis. They show that at large scales the Green's functions shows exponential decay. This can be motivated by the study of coarsening phenomena in (e.g.) Kawasaki dynamics when randomly distributed clusters exchange mass essentially through diffusive exchange of single particles.
