Let \(\Delta=\{z\in\mathbb C,\;|z|<1\}\), where \(\mathbb C\) is the complex plane, and let \(A\) be the class of functions analytic in \(\Delta\). For \(|z|, |a|<1\), let \(g(z,a)=\ln|\frac{1-\overline a z}{a-z}|\), and \(\phi_a(z)=\frac{a-z}{1-\overline a z}\). Finally, let \(0<p<\infty\), \(-2<q<\infty\), \(0\leq s<\infty\); then the function spaces \(F(p,g,s)\) are defined by \(F(p,q,s)=\{f\in A:\sup_{a\rightarrow D}\iint_\Delta |f'(z)|^p(1-|z|^2)^q g^s(z,a)dx\,dy<\infty\}\). The spaces \(F(p,q,s)\) contain as special cases the \(\alpha\)-Bloch spaces, weighted Dirichlet spaces, and Besov spaces considered by previous authors. One has \(f\in F(p,q,s)\) if and only if the integral in the definition of \(F(p,q,s)\) with \(g(z,a)\) replaced by \(1-|\phi_\alpha(z)|^2\) is finite. The goal of the present paper is to obtain the harmonic majorants of functions in \(F(p,q,s)\) and prove various theorems about them. Section 1 of the paper explains the relation between the spaces \(F(p,q,s)\) and other Banach spaces, section 2 details the construction of harmonic extensions of functions integrable on \(\mathbb T=\{z:|z|=1\}\) to \(\Delta\). These constructions are applied in section 3 to obtain the harmonic majorants of \(f\in F(p,q,s)\), and membership of \(f\in F(p,q,s)\) is proved equivalent to the boundedness of \(\sup_{a=re^{i\theta},0\leq r<1}\iint_{\Delta} |f'(z)|^p(1-|z|^2)^qg^s(z,a)dx,\,dy\) on \(\mathbb T\). In section 4 inclusions among \(F(p,q,s)\) spaces are translated in terms of the harmonic functions characterizing functions on these spaces. In section 5 the spaces to which the analytic completion of harmonic majorants of functions in \(F(p,q,s)\) can belong are considered.
