The authors develop the so called \(t\)-singular homology for orbifolds, generalizing the usual singular homology for manifolds. For instance, the first \(t\)-homology group is the abelianization of the orbifold fundamental group. Simplices are replaced by \(t\)-simplices, transverse to the branching locus. The maps between orbifolds considered here are the so called \(b\)-maps. Those are not only maps between the underlying spaces, but a choice of lifts for the local charts. In addition there is a non-degeneracy condition: at least one regular point is assumed to be mapped to a regular point. The authors prove that b-maps induce morphisms beween the \(t\)-homology groups, after a \(t\)-modification, so that \(t\)-simplices are mapped to \(t\)-simplices. Several properties are shown for \(t\)-singular homology: Hurewicz homomorphism, Mayer-Vietoris exact sequence, Künneth's formula. In addition, several examples are computed.
