This paper deals with resonant semilinear elliptic problems with a non-smooth potential (hemivariational inequalities) of the type: \(-\Delta x(z)-\lambda_k x(z)\in\partial j(z,x(z))\) for a.a. \(z\in Z\) \(x |_{\partial Z}=0\) where \(Z\) is a bounded smooth domain in \(\mathbb{R}^N\), and \(\lambda=2\) is an eigenvalue of \((-\Delta,H_0^1(Z))\). Assuming that the subdifferential \(j(z,x(z))\) is bounded by an \(L^\infty (Z)\) function the authors prove the existence of non-trivial solutions. The proof is based on a ``non-smooth version'' of the Palais Smale condition due to K. C. Chang and on a ``non-smooth version'' of the linking Theorem, proved, in a previous paper, by one of the authors.
